What the Glitter Actually Does

The regular kajol lays down flat colour. This one carries fine shimmer in it, so the line catches light as the eye moves. It is not chunky glitter and it does not sit on the skin as separate flecks. Think of it as a metallic line rather than a sparkly one.

That difference shows most at night and under indoor light, which makes it the one to reach for at a wedding or an evening out.

The Eight Shades

Gold, Real Gold, Bronze, Antique Bronze, Raisin, Espresso, Violet 2 and Violet 3.

Gold and Real Gold are the two most people start with. Bronze and Antique Bronze are warmer and less bright, which reads well in the daytime. Raisin and Espresso are the browns, and they work as a softer alternative to black on the lower lash line. The two violets are the boldest of the set.

Wearing It Without Overdoing It

A metallic line is heavier than a matte one, so keep it thin. Along the upper lash root is usually enough.
