Lipstick price in Bangladesh depends on three things: the finish, how many shades the range carries, and how many hands the product passed through before it reached you. Ours start at ৳250 and stop at ৳400, because you are buying from the distributor’s own store rather than a reseller.
Pick a finish, pick a shade, pay when it arrives at your door.
Lipstick Price in Bangladesh: What You Pay and Why
Across local online stores, lipstick runs anywhere from under ৳100 to a few thousand taka. That spread is mostly about import cost and brand name, not about how the color sits on your lips.
Here is what our three lipsticks cost:
The ৳150 difference between the pencil and the glossy stick is mostly shade range. Twenty shades cost more to stock than six. If you already know you want a deep maroon or a classic red, the ৳250 pencil gives you the same color for less.
Choose Your Finish
Pencil lipstick, semi matte (Colourgirl, ৳250)
A twist-up or sharpenable stick that draws the line and fills the lip in one step. The semi matte finish sits between a flat matte and a shine: some softness, not much gleam. This is the easiest format for anyone who finds a regular bullet lipstick hard to control, and it is the one to buy if you want a defined lip without also buying a separate liner. Shades run deep: Burgundy, Currant, Maroon, Natural, Red and Wine.
Glossy lipstick, creamy (Jackelin, ৳400)
A creamy bullet lipstick with a shiny finish that makes lips look fuller. Jackelin describes this formula as containing vitamin E. It is the most comfortable of the three on dry lips, and it is the one with real color choice: twenty shades, from Coconut 14 and Nearly Nude 102 at the soft end through Honey 25 and Golden rose 100 in the middle to Wine 50, Chocolate 12 and Egg plant 127 at the deep end.
The trade-off is wear time. A glossy finish needs a touch-up after a meal.
Liquid lipstick, matte (Jackelin, ৳375)
Applied with a doe-foot wand, it dries down to a flat matte that stays put. This is the one for a full day out, a long wedding evening, or anywhere you will not get a chance to reapply. Six shades: Flush Mahogany, Maroon, Nude Pink, Pink Sherbet, Pure Red and Sweet Mauve.
Matte formulas are drying by nature. If your lips crack in winter or under office air conditioning, use a balm underneath, or pick the glossy stick instead.

Which Shade Suits Your Skin Tone
There is no tester when you shop online, so work from undertone instead of guessing from a photo. Check the veins on the inside of your wrist in daylight. Greenish veins usually mean a warm undertone. Bluish or purple veins usually mean a cool undertone. If you cannot tell, you are probably neutral, which means most shades will work.
For fair and light skin
Soft pinks and mauves read as natural rather than washed out. Try Nude Pink or Sweet Mauve in the liquid lipstick, or Angel Pink 01, Nearly Nude 102 or Iced Mauve 126 in the glossy range. Very dark shades can look severe on fair skin unless that is the effect you want.
For medium and olive skin
This is the widest playing field. Warm browns, honeys and true reds all sit well. Look at Honey 25, Golden rose 100, Chestnut 86, Tomato 47 or Red 37 in the glossy range, Pure Red or Flush Mahogany in the liquid, or Natural and Red in the pencil.
For deep and warm skin
Rich, saturated color holds up best. Chocolate 12, Maroon 130, Wine 50, Burgundy 09 and Egg plant 127 in the glossy range are the ones to look at, or Maroon, Wine and Burgundy in the pencil lipstick. Pale nudes tend to look grey on deep skin, so if you want a nude, go for a brown-based one.
Picking a shade for a holud, wedding or Eid
For a holud, warm oranges and reds sit well against yellow: Mango 28, Tomato 47 or Apple 02. For a wedding evening, a deep red or maroon in the liquid lipstick will outlast the night. For Eid day visits, a soft nude or a mauve keeps things easy when you are eating and talking for hours.

Getting Your Lipstick to Last All Day
- Start with clean, prepped lips. A quick scrub with a damp cloth removes flakes that matte color would otherwise cling to.
- Balm first, but blot it. Balm stops a matte formula from cracking. Leftover grease stops any formula from gripping. Apply, wait a minute, blot.
- Line before you fill. A lip liner in a close shade stops color from bleeding at the edges, which is where lipstick usually fails first. We carry the Colourgirl Lipliner at ৳200 and the Jackelin Lipliner Pencil at ৳250.
- Two thin coats beat one thick one. Blot between them with a tissue.
- Keep the pencil sharp. A blunt pencil lipstick gives a soft edge. The ৳80 dual sharpener fits both pencil sizes we sell.
- Store it away from heat. A lipstick left in a car or by a sunny window in Dhaka’s summer will soften and lose its shape.
Three Mistakes to Avoid When You Buy Lipstick Online
Judging a shade from a product photo. Phone screens push warmth and saturation differently. Read the shade name and the family it belongs to, and use the skin tone notes above, rather than trusting the image color exactly.
Buying matte when your lips are already dry. This is the most common regret. Matte lasts longest, but if your lips flake, a matte formula will show every crack. The glossy stick is the better buy in that case, even though it needs touching up.
Ordering from a seller who will not tell you where they are. A page with no address, no company name and no phone number has no way of standing behind what it ships you. That is how counterfeit cosmetics move.
Buying Direct From the Distributor
Most online stores in Bangladesh buy their stock from someone else. This one does not.
Jackelinbeauty is run by Polycorporation, the company that imports and distributes the Jackelin and Colourgirl ranges here. The office is at 136 Taufiq Electric Market, 2nd Floor, Nawabpur, Dhaka 1100, and the phone number is 01958059009, open Saturday to Thursday, 9:30am to 5:00pm.
That matters for two reasons. There is no reseller between you and the source, so the shade you order is the shade that came off the distributor’s shelf. And if something is wrong, there is a named company and a working number to call.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the price of lipstick in Bangladesh?
Across local stores, lipstick ranges from under ৳100 to several thousand taka, mostly depending on the brand and where it is imported from. At Jackelin Beauty, the Colourgirl Pencil Lipstick is ৳250, the Jackelin Liquid Lipstick is ৳375, and the Jackelin Glossy Lipstick is ৳400.
Which lipstick lasts the longest?
The Jackelin Liquid Lipstick. It dries to a flat matte that stays put through a long day or an evening event. The glossy stick is more comfortable to wear but needs a touch-up after eating.
Which lipstick shade should I pick for my skin tone?
Check your wrist veins in daylight. Green veins point to a warm undertone, blue or purple to a cool one. Fair skin usually suits soft pinks and mauves like Nude Pink or Angel Pink 01. Medium and olive skin has the widest range, including Honey 25, Golden rose 100 and Pure Red. Deep skin holds saturated color best, so look at Chocolate 12, Maroon 130 or Wine 50.
Do you offer cash on delivery?
Yes. You pay when the parcel is handed to you.
What is the difference between matte, semi matte and glossy?
Matte is flat with no shine and lasts longest. Glossy is shiny and creamy, makes lips look fuller, and is kinder to dry lips. Semi matte, which is what the Colourgirl pencil gives you, sits between the two.
Are these lipsticks original?
The site is operated by Polycorporation, the importer and distributor of both the Jackelin and Colourgirl ranges in Bangladesh, from an office at 136 Taufiq Electric Market, Nawabpur, Dhaka. The stock ships from the distributor rather than from a reseller.
